As the elevator travels up and down the hoistway, data is sent back to the control board and on top of the car for realtime monitoring of elevator safety devices.
The ESCM2000 easily monitor elevator safety devices in the hoistway and machine room. Governor switch, Rope Gripper, Door Locks, Limit Switches, Pit switches, Buffer Switches and Pit Doors.
The ESCM2000 also monitor safety devices on the car. Escape Hatch, Plank Switch and Stop Switch.
Not only can we monitor safety devices we can also monitor Slowdown Switches and Normal Limits. By giving these devices addresses, the ESCM2000 is able to reduce cost by reducing hatch wire / multi cable, by sending data back to the control component where it can be processed in realtime.
Eliminating the need for individual inputs at the controller. Therefore reducing controller size and simplifying the troubleshooting procedure.
The ESCM2000 requires only five wires to services Hoistway devices. Two twisted shielded pairs, (22AWG, 24AWG) and one 18AWG
The ESCM2000 monitor and display board is ahead of its time. By utilizing the RS485 input and updated RS485 transceiver, with a 1/8 UL data stream allowing for up to 256 modules on the Bus.

Not only have we implemented the RS485 transceiver with a 1/8 UL for highrise applications. We also added a RS485 and CANBus outputs to easily interface with any controller manufacture. Sending incoming addresses in packets with the proper protocol for use as part of the control component.
Our monitor and display has five different modes allowing for easy programming of addresses, fault monitoring, date and time set, view fault log and clear faults.
The ESCM2000 monitor and display can easily be programmed in the field by any mechanic. Simply by utilizing the up, down, mode and set buttons. Our parameter based system allows for quick programming of any address and location.
